Surf Trip What to Pack for Surf Trip Clothes
One board bag and one backpack. That’s all you need. You
don’t want many clothes in the tropics: two pairs of board shorts and one pair
of five t-shirts, adaptable walk shorts, one pair of light long pants and one
button down shirt for a night on the town, flip-flops, one pair of versatile
shoes, and a light raincoat. That’s it. You want to save room for the more
necessary items.

Your health and safety should be your main concern when
packing for a tropical surf trip. Pack sufficient sunscreen and bug spray in
airline accepted bottles. Make sure to bring hats and light clothes to save you
from the sun. Food is always doubtful when far from home, so Imodium and an all
reason antibiotic are important. A small first aid kit is always a good idea.

leave. As well, it’s always best to be ready so pack a covered copy of your

Sun blocks are your saviors. Buy a good, albeit exclusive,
sunscreen for your body and face. Use a lip balm or some petroleum jelly on
your lip that provides sun safety. Make sure the sunscreen lotions are
waterproof and sweat-proof. However, I'd advise that you use rash guards. In
all belief, your sunscreen will come off in 2-3 hours.

several repellents that might be useful throughout your stay.
